Canon iP1880 printer needs to be reset in the event of:
1. Blink 4x Orange 1x green
2. Green flashing orange, alternately over 7x (Ink Absorber Full),
3. Orange 8x ink tank full
1. Driver must already be installed. If you have not had the drivers click here.
2. The printer must be in a state of service mode (temporary reset).
3. Run the General Service Tool. If you do not have, download HERE
4. Unplug the AC power, plug back in and turn on (initial printer / ill wait till the light flashes. Done

How to Reset Canon iP1880 Printer
Here are the steps to Reset iP1880:
1. Driver must already be installed. If you have not had the drivers click here.
2. The printer must be in a state of service mode (temporary reset).
To activate the service mode:
Unplug electrical power cord
Press the power (on the printer)
Electrical power plugs (light is green)
While pressing the power press the reset button (light turns orange)
Remove the two (the printer will die)
Press the power button again and immediately remove it. (Light is green) (do not unplug the electrical power)
3. Run the General Service Tool. If you do not have, download HERE
4. Unplug the AC power, plug back in and turn on (initial printer / ill wait till the light flashes. Done
How to run the General Service Tool
- Exctrak file you downloaded
- Windows must 1024x768 resolution
- Run the file "GeneralTool.exe"
- Select USB port
- Clear the check Eeprom
- Click Lock Release
- Select IP1800
- Click Main
- click Pattern
- Click Quit
