Explore Instagram with Instagrille, Instagram App for Windows - In previous articles we have reviewed the Instagram for Chrome, a browser extension for Google Chrome that allows you to explore Instagram photos. This time we will review about Instagrille, Instagram app for the PC, or a Windows-based laptop.
Until now, Instagram only make a formal application for smart phones only (Android and iOS), but does not rule out the possibility in the future, Instagram will make a formal application that can run on Windows. Before the formal application is available, you can use Instagrille to browse Instagram photos on a laptop or PC.
Instagrille developed by SweetLabs, a startup which is sponsored by Google and Intel. Instagrille walk in the Pokki platform, a platform that helps developers create applications that connect to a standard web languages like HTML5. Currently there are more than 150 applications that run on the Pokki, including Instagrille. In the meantime, Instagrille only available for Windows, SweetLabs plans to release Instagrille for Mac OS later this year.
Instagrille has various features like Instagram, you can find all Instagram features in Instagrille (like leave a comment and like the photos, see profile and follow other users, etc.), Except the photo upload feature (until recently the Instagram does not allow third-party applications to upload photos). Keep in mind also, to be able to use Instagrille, you must have an account with Instagram, and to acquire Instagram account, you must apply through your Android phone or iPhone.
